  • Signature Question

I'm was looking for Frances thread on her build and went through many pages and didn't find it. So I'm wondering on how to attach our threads to our signature. I remember asking help to attach photos as others have, someone even created a thread on how to do it.

Huh? RC, do you mean you want notification of certain threads she has started? If so, go to her profile, see threads she has started, then go to that thread and subscribe. Did this help?

      Re: Signature Question

Up at the top of this page, next to search, is "quick links", which brings up a menu with "Members list" on it. Click on that, and there is an alphabet at the top, click "F", the third page has Frances, click view all posts.

      It's a bit convoluted.

Thanks a lot, that helps a bunch. I've searched for certain links the hard way. Page by page.

No, I used Frances as an example, my main question was how do I attach by threads as part of my signature? Robert you have it on yours.

            Re: Signature Question

I haven't done it, but I'd guess that you copy the address bar for your thread and paste in in "Your signiture" box on the edit you signature tab.

              Re: Signature Question

Just yesterday I found this really usefull little button at the top of the posts where you can search all threads for a particular word... now wouldn't that have come handy during the build!

But... I am not alone . Computers hey? Live and learn.

search all threads for a particular word...

I think George is always searching for the words "Beer" ( or maybe "Fish"_)

                    Re: Signature Question

RC, go to your CP, then edit signature. In the box, take a thread you have as copied and paste there. You can preview it first if you like. That is what I did.

Thanks, George walked me thru it as well as you can now see in my signature. I just wondered how Ken got it so simple saying Oven Build versus having the link there. welcome back

Uh, Ken's a pilot. He's smart! He's gonna make big bucks stock-piling 100 watt light bulbs and sell them to digruntled EZ Bake Oven owners.

                          Re: Signature Question

                          RC,

You can change what is displayed for the hyperlink by changing the text between the two bracketed sections. The text in quotes inside the first brackets is the page to link to. The text between the two sets of brackets is the text to display.

For example, you could change your text to "Oven thread" by changing your signature as shown in the attachment.

                            Ahh,
Jet is probably stock-piling light bulbs too. Supply goes up, prices go down.

                            Good answer Jet!
