I have no pizza oven but am fixing to remedy that and hope Forno Bravo has a part to play in the remedy.

        Hi Mark,

I noticed the mention of free plans but couldn't find them. Likely right under my nose.

        Thanks!

            Thanks Les, much appreciated.

I'm going to run into a problem though, I live on the island of Bohol in the Philippines and can't find high temp mortar or vermiculite. I can ship one of those insulating blankets from the US though I'm sure.

That's great Mark, thanks again! Btw, before I moved to Oregon (and the Philippines) I lived in Jersey. As in infant I lived in Fort Lee and then moved to New Milford then on to Sparta and Newton in Sussex County. My father's business was in Leonia. Small world eh?

Now I'll go see what John is up to!

                  Hey Lancer,
It is a small world,,, without traffic I could make it to New Milford in lesst than 10 Minutes.. How on earth after all that moving did you end up in the phillipines... ?? My new neighbors just moved here from phillipines as well,... I will have to ask them what area they are from....
                  Cheers

Well Mark, I just kept going West to get to Oregon where I've lived over 20 years and still go to earn my way in life. Then traveled here to the Philippines, I'd heard good things, and met a gal on the beach and married her, its been 13 years and absolutely wonderful. I really like the Philippines as well, very friendly people on the provincial island we live on, Bohol. Lets see, great wife, friendly people, warm weather...those are the upsides. The downside for this Jersey boy is the pizza is terrible! However there's tomatoes and or tomatoes sauce, spices, and motz from New Zealand. It didn't take long to put two and two together and go looking for an oven recipe and what do I find? Another guy from Jersey who lives just a short ride from where I grew up who has a pizza oven and wants to teach others. It is a small world!
