i am new and i am not sure if i am doing this right but i posted a bread recipe on the cooking thread and it has been three days now and it still say i have not posted anything. I figured i would try a reply to a post to see if it gets posted. I am a newbie that is planning to build a Pompeii oven this summer here in wilmington North Carolina USA. I found this forum after reading all about barell vault ovens but i like the ideas on this forum better and i believe thisis the better way to guild a WFO

Sorry that you have found yourself unanswered here. It's a bit old a section and James rarely answeres.
You have yourself 5 post to your count so something's working.
If you lost a post sometimes you forget to hit "submit" after reviewing your post... It happens.
Go down to to the " getting started section" put in what you planning to do and you'll get a reply.
Ask how to post a "pic" we are simple folk and a pic tells a thousand stories they say. A pic of you intended building site is often a good start... And makes a good memory at the end

There are people on the line. Dave has good advice and once you post in the 'getting started' section you will get plenty of support.

Welcome. This site is loaded with people who are happy to provide you with the benefit of their experience (both sweet and sour).

Pictures are a great thing to do. The more the better and browsing some of the threads that people have posted will give you some good ideas if you are in the planning stage.
