Hello Everyone,
I am a potter and I have been trying to make a BBQ for a while now. I have just purchased Rutland's Refractory Cement for the liner of my BBQ. It will be my first attempt. Also, after reading the posts I bought some rebar wire to put in the cement mixture to avoid the cracks. Hope I am on the right track. However, I have 1/2 gallon how much wire should go into the mixture? I know it is 2%. What is 2% of 1/2 gallon? Anyone have an answer I would appreciate it.
The outside of the BBQ is made of Raku clay.
