  • crazed dawg buck from mishawaka

Hi I'm Mike from Indiana. I teach ceramics and coach football. I would love to build a wfo cuz I love to cook...would also like to have my linemen over for a fatguy pizza party! Looking into making my own bricks for my first layer and possibly throwing (on the wheel) one large disk for my hearth. I recently have learner to throw large platters and pizza stones. Thoughts on all diy ideas?

    Hi Mike,

Building a WFO is no small feat but it is very fulfilling. I wish you luck and be sure to document your progress here on the forum. As for suggestions... have fun! Anything can be done so it is really how you want it. Good luck on making your own bricks though. That is pretty cool.

Since you teach ceramics, maybe you can write-off the cost of your pizza oven (I meant to say your "pottery kiln") as an unreimbursed business expense.....
