I didnt get any specs on it. It was like i said in my post. I just looked at it and felt that it was soft. I dont know if the distribution center would have the specs either. It was delivered to them by mistake and has been in their warehouse a while.

I think I decided to just pour six inches of p crete for my insulated hearth. That will give me a higher cooking floor for my tall self. Five parts perlite to 1 part cement.

Just got done laying in my p crete insulated hearth. I did 5/1/2", or a 2 by 6 thickness of it.

I just read about putting a moisture barrier between it and the structural concrete. Well that aint gonna happen now. Oh well.

I covered it all with plastic. I will leave it on a few days to allow it to cure and then take it off after cure to hopfully allow the extra moisture to escape before laying my cooking floor.
