A couple of hrs at my dining room table with a pencil, legal pad, ruler, and protractor. Then another hour or so laying out brick halves on my garage floor.
Overly simplistic to some, foolish to others for not utilizing modern technology; extremely gratifying to me......and not at all time consuming. I wish other aspects of the build had gone as quickly and smoothly.

RT, simple but effective. Did you utilize some type of cardbord to help transfer this information onto the hearth?An excellent pizza is shared with the ones you love!
