We are just beginning planning for an outdoor kitchen area to include a wood-fired oven. We are pretty handy at construction, so we intend to build it ourselves. Any ideas on how to get started? It is for our rustic cut-flower farm, whcih is also an even center popular for weddings. Most stuff at the farm is cypress, brick, stained concrete - not Tuscan or Mexican design - so we need to stay with appropriate materials and designs.

Re: Hello from Arkansas
Welcome,
You can decorate the outside of your oven any way you like. The exterior design has very little to do with the functioning or guts of the oven. I think it would be an excellent addition to an "event cetner/farm/garden".
Get started by reading these forums, looking through the photo section and downloading the e-books (free) from the forno bravo store. You have to register at the store and checkout with the books, but they are free.
