James, do you keep any demographics info on the active members?

      Re: FB International Pizza Forum

I found that link by searching for Frappr.

Does not seem like it was picked up by FB but does have some FB member ovens on it. (I also searched Frappr for Forno Bravo and it said they had 1 member)

James, is there a way you could use the member database of locations to create a member map automatically?

It would be nice to know where the members with ovens actually were.

My guess in number of FB forum members with ovens starts in the US, with the Canada, the UK and Australia in the top 5.

      ....but it will keep growing!

I don't see Texas on the list..........

Somehow I knew you were going to say that Dave. I was racing you to put it on there. For whatever reason, Texans seem to think they are a separate country. You guys are puny compared to Alaska though

Better be careful or Alaska will split into two states and make Texas the third largest state

                Dave,
Texas is part of the USA, but if I'm not mistaken, it's the only state with rights to become it's own country. Don't wish that on us.
As a separate thread I'll ask how our brothers and sisters access the internet?

Better late than never into a thread. We also have ovens in Malaysia, Thailand, Sweden, Bahrain, Saudi, and Grenada (off the top of my head).

Here's a question. Do you think FB should set up a Wood-Fired Oven map where you could post your oven photo and location? There is the other map out there, but we have not worked together on it, and it hasn't had much traction.

What do you think? Worth it? Would be get enough members to post their ovens to make it useful?

James - are you referring to the Frapper map? I believe all of the Forno members would participate. The existing map had a few of us on there - it just keeps losing visibility.

                        Les...

                          Hi Les,

I was thinking of the Frapper map, but would want to do better. :-)

I think I can use the same mapping service that I used for the wood-fired pizzeria map to build a self-registration map for home WFO owners. It would take some time, but I think I can do it.

What do other folks think? Would you use it?

Sounds really cool to me. I'd be on it all the time - though I love maps. Goes back to my youngest pre-pubescent days.
