I registered on the Frapper map but it wasn't very user-friendly or accesible. I would certainly participate in a FB map.

I think that we would all use it - or at least enough of us to justify the time and energy.

Thanks JW. The services are based on Google Maps, and the service providers add the software the allows users to add their own map locations, photos, comments, etc. Google added a programming interface to their maps to enable these types of services.

I will start looking at it more closely. It would be fun to see where all those ovens are located.
