Hello, I have recently become interested in wood fired pizza ovens and am now discovering they are not just for pizza. I’m a carpenter / millworker and want to learn about the design and construction of wood fired ovens so I can build my own.

start with the buying the eplans from Forno Bravo, they are $3. A little dated but a good baseline for design and construction of a WFO. Then go the newbie section under a stickie called "treasures hidden in archives" or something like that for links for some of the more documented builds.

Welcome. You've come to the right place. Lots of experienced and knowledgeable builders here. Do lots of research and pics help.
