Hello from Minnesota

Hello -

I have been following the forum for about 6 months and am in the planning stage for my oven. I have my location picked and I am working through the layout including dimensions, style and functionality. I have recently contacted my city planning/permit/fire and received the guidance on local requirements. Not surprising that they very limited. I hope to layout and pour the slab before winter and complete the build next year.

I look forward to continuing to learn from the community and will open a topic soon to share my thoughts and receive feedback from the group.

Hey Chris did you get your slab poured? I would be somewhat surprised if the city had much of anything to say other that stay far enough away from the house. That is all mine said. I look forward to seeing what you have in mind for the build.
