  • Greetings from California

Good afternoon! I'm currently looking at purchasing a new oven. I'm leaning towards the Toscana90 with natural gas, but I keep flipping back to the Vesuvio page...lol. Either way, I'm really interested in learning what people think about the longevity of cast ovens? How long can you expect a well taken care of, cast oven to last. Do the domes crack at all? I'm torn between spending more on a brick pre-built and these cast ones. Everything I'd read points towards saving a few thousand dollars and going with Forno Bravo, but I would like to know that a covered, out-of-the-weather oven, is going to last me more than a few years. Thanks for any input!
