  • Howdy!

I am new here and will likely be lurking for some time before getting around to building an oven.

I have been day dreaming about building one into the hill behind my house when time comes to rebuild the retaining walls.

Seems like a nice bunch of folks! And fine looking ovens! And super-duper pizza and bread...makin' me hungry!

Start with downloading the free eplans from Forno Bravo store site and read thoroughly. It is a good but dated baseline for building WFOs, take YouTube videos with a grain of salt, there are some really bad and incorrect ones out there. For more current and innovative info, peruse the blog but you have to slog around the forum to find info, no one stop all for info.

As you lurk, find and bookmark a few ovens that are the size and look and quality you want to end up with. Use those as your baseline and fill in any blanks with other related builds or questions to the forum.
I built a corner style so UtahBeehiver 's oven was the one I really locked in on for the majority of the details.
