I have been lurking on this forum for over a decade, dreaming, and am finally about to start planning my build. I want to build an entire enclosed outdoor kitchen, with a pizza oven, grill, space for a large offset smoker and black stone-style griddle. I hope to use wood as fuel for all of it. I live in Minnesota, so it will be important to be able to close it up in the winter so I can keep using it.
Some build considerations
- I will be building in a wooded slope behind the house
- We have 7 kids and we love to entertain, so we regularly feed 20-80 friends
- I have to fit a 9’x3’ offset smoker inside the kitchen/smoke shack, and have a way to evacuate the smoke
As I turn my plans into sketches I will start a build thread.
