Hi there,

I've been coming to this community for tips since 2003. I recently constructed my 2nd oven (Alan Scott style?). I need to add some external insulation and finishing but I've fired it 3 times with progressively better results each time. Btw the base is meta (with wheels) because I tried a steel oven which didn't work... I repurposed the base for the brick one

Be very careful moving that oven. The combination of a small base, large mass with a high centre of gravity, small diameter wheels and rough terrain all add up to a dangerous situation.
