I have been a long time lurker. I am going to start building an oven this fall and want to join so I can continue to prepare myself for this build.

Welcome to the forum family! As you know already (from your long time lurking), planning ahead and really deciding how you would use the oven is critical. If you love to bake, bbq, & entertain... and have room in your yard for not only the oven but some wood storage, you'll love it. There's a free set of build plans on the Forno Bravo site. The plans are a bit dated but really cover a lot of great basic information. As you zero in on "how big" & "where will it go", we'll be here to answer questions and fill you in on updated building recommendations. Also, if you're pressed for time, the Forno Bravo ovens are incredibly well built and a good value. Again, welcome and enjoy this planning stage...not only important but great to see what others have done.

Plus one on Mike's welcome and comments. Also look at the Treasure Archive Sticky in the Newbie Section where a lot of well documented builds are hyperlinked. Do take any YouTube videos with a grain of salt, many are not very good and only looking for "views".
