Rick - use Hotels.com (or one of the others). There are rooms for $44.00 (may be cheaper ones, didn't spend a lot of time looking), that seems pretty inexpensive for the area.

So, anybody know the cheapest hotel nearby?
I'll be driving just under 2000 miles roundtrip, and I'll be needing a bargain!
    Thanks, if anybody knows...

PS I did read all the posts! Just looking for something very reasonable. Don't care about amenities.
    Sincerely,
    RicklessssssS

Looks like I'll be coming and bringing a friend.
We will register Friday, right after I pick up him up from the Dr.
We're driving all the way from Eugene Oregon...
We'll try to bring good weather...

    Hey Dusty,

That would be great. We are keeping the registration system working until Friday afternoon. It's all about head count and dough. :-)

We are at 120 and counting.

The last thing I heard today was the Antonio Laudisio was planning on showing some great wood-fired dishes that he has recently come up with for his Boulder, CO restaurant. It sounds good to me.

    James,
    I didn't realize this - sorry.
My wife and I are coming.
Is it to late to register?

    Hey Fresno,

I hope you bring the dry central valley weather. We are asking everyone to pre-register. We don't want to worry about looking after cash at the event, and we would like to get a good headcounter before.

Maybe you can twist an arm or two. :-)

    See you there.

That new building or next to it?
    I'm in -
PS - what about latecomers? (I've got a few maybe's) They want to know, if they can make it, can they pay at the door?

Without digging through the posts - how about an address? The Monterey peninsula covers a little bit of land.
