Water soluble mortar

Hi folks,

I have a bunch of water soluble Heat Stop refractory mortar from a previous project. Here are the specs:

HeatStop Premix
Meets ASTM C-199 and all building codes
Ready to use. Just mix. Air-setting
Great for laying firebrick in hot dry weather.
Water soluble so not appropriate for flues or outdoor fireplaces
Available in 50# buckets or in 10# pails.

Is this usable for an outdoor pizza oven that is not exposed to the elements?

Yes, although I would use regular mortar on the outer arch and anything directly exposed to the elements.
