  • Inflatable Form

I don't know if this exists or not, but it would be a great tool for the DIY builder. Imagine an inflatable 36" and 42" Pompeii form. It would be made of heavy vinyl or other suitable material and would be inflated with an air compressor and the DIY builder would build over it just like a form and then deflate it and remove it when finished. If this does not exist, can it be made?

    Thanks,

Building a 42" Pompeii oven with homebrew mortar.

I think they exist - they are called exercise balls. The 105 should work for a 42 inch oven.

      Re: Inflatable Form

That is along the lines of what I am talking about, but what I am looking for is the entire form. Imagine an igloo shaped inflatable form. It could even have a brick pattern drawn on the outside as a guide so you know approximately where to place each brick.

What about an inflatable pizza oven, now that would take all the work out of it..?
