Would like to add an avitar to my posts

Can someone post the how to on placing an avitar (pic) with my post?
Its probably somewhere on the forum but I cant find it.

go to upper left. hit user cp, go to edit options, insert your avatar.

thanks, as you can tell by the pic, I was able to add the avitar pic.
