Like most I have been lurking and reading and looking at everyone's builds. I think I am ready to start my own build. The strange part is the fact that my next door neighbor is part owner of a refractory materials plant. They specialize in casting refractory materials. I didn't really know what that meant until he said" If you get me a diagram of a cast , I can cast it for you" Great news until I realized that I do not have any set diagrams. I have been looking at everything castable on the site, but to be honest, I have no real idea what I am looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome
I'd like to have a neighbor like that!
I don't have a diagram, but a member here called Sonomacast has posted some good pictures and explanations of his oven casting.Lee B.

If you are thinking about building a brick oven, my advice is Here.
I try to learn from my mistakes, and from yours when you give me a heads up.
