Holy Brick!

I came across some free chimney brick from a home demo and am considering using them for the inner dome. My concern is that these bricks have 3 manufactured holes in them. Would anyone, or has anyone, used brick such as these in their oven project?

Sounds like a house brick which are not really suitable and will break down quickly in an oven . If you go to the glossary sticky you find a link to a brick primer.
