Help with heat insulation

I bought FB Board 36242 as insulation under the floor of Pompeii oven. The firebricks around it will be on the uninsulated top.

How much heat will I lose?

Should I pour an insulation layer around the floor and then place the first layer of bricks on that?

You need to insulate the dome wall from the concrete hearth or the hearth will act as heat sink. Can't you extend the FB board under the dome wall? This is the area where you want to do it right.

LOTS AND LOTS OF HEAT WILL BE LOST......

The heated parts of the oven should only touch insulation. As much as is possible.
