  • Bolts / Brackets

I just got my Prima 70 set up. There are 3 holes per leg and 12 bolts. There are also 4 brackets. Does the bracket go on the bottom hole as per picture below?

Picture shows foreground with bracket not completely tightened and leg in background with empty hole on bottom.

Also - does the oven door not attach to anything in any way?

Any help before I get precipitation would be awesome!

    Re: Bolts / Brackets

here is one more pic after i put all 4 brackets/bolts in the bottom hole of each leg.

    Two questions:

    1. I assume this is correct place?

    2. There is a small gap in between this and the bottom of the ring of the base. Is this normal?

    TIA.

Under the Resources tab above, FornoBravo has a video section.

In this video, they use a temporary bracket to rest the weight of the oven while finishing the assembley. The oven is then picked up slightly from the bracket to align the permanent bolts.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for. But, I hope this helps!

Awesome, thanks. Def answers one of my questions. Sadly I had watched that video on mute at one point and missed the bracket part altogether. :|

Any idea on the oven door? Does it really not attach to anything?

I'm not sure about your oven. But, most don't. Gravity is usually enough to hold the door firmly in place.

Great. Thanks. If any others have had a different experience let me know. I assumed that was the case but found it a little odd nonetheless.

              Re: Bolts / Brackets

              Hello Backyard Za,

The four brackets included with your Primavera70 are to be placed on the 3rd hole (bottom hole) located on each leg, and secured with bolts.

The brackets are to facilitate the installation process. When mounting the oven on the stand, the weight of the oven rests on the brackets. Removing the brackets is a matter of preference.

The small gap between the bracket and metal ring/base is not an issue as the brackets are only meant to provide temporary support at the time of installation.

The door is meant to slide past the landing and stop at the lip, right before the cooking chamber. I have included a photograph for your review, as to proper fitting of the door.

I hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

              Thank you,
