Chimney?

Built an arched style oven and have three rows of brick for chimney now but need to gain another foot since I am putting a roof over it so my question is how many courses can I go up before it is too much weight?

...Difficult to say. It might be worth putting in a chimney flue (stainless, clay, or steel pipe) rather than simply using the brick. You also need to consider the heat. Chimneys get very hot!...and you want to make sure you have an insulation layer (a simple air gap will do) between the chimney flue and the roof.
