  • Help. What would cause this.

Can someone tell me what is happening to the floor brick in my Primavera 70. The back small floor tile is sticking up about 1/2 inch. What would cause this and how do I fix it. The picture is a little blurry.

Something pushed it up from below.

If you can get in there pull the brick out and see what is below. You may need to shave a little off the brick to get it back in it's place after cleaning out the hole.

If it will not come out easily you may need to break it with a chisel and then make a replacement to fit.

Another less desirable method would be to get in there with an angle grinder and flatten it out but it would be very messy and difficult to breathe in there even with a really good mask. And that does not even count being able to see.

I pulled out the brick and found that the insulation under it had gotten wet. We had some strong storms and I think rain came in sideways and seeped under the door and pooled on the back floor brick. I checked for cracks and there are none so I am pretty sure it was from the rain and door. I pulled the brick and clean out the ash from under the brick but some of the insulation was lost. Only a little bit was lost. How much insulation is in a Primevera 70 floor? Will this effect the oven in anyway?

I thought FB supplied 2 inches w/ their ovens. Losing a little bit will most likely have little effect on the performance - cook on ( but keep it dry )
