Newbie info - books

Is there a problem with the FB store that anyone knows about? Ive been trying to order the downloadable Pompeii How-to manual but everytime I login, the item in my shopping cart goes away.

Well, login first, then add the item to the cart...try that...

Yeah i have problems with it too.

When I try to pay for stuff, it just says Page not found.

I've tried several times and several different ways.

Logging in, not logging. etc.

But no luck.

I figured I would just call in my order....

If you log in and add an item to your cart, you get the error "Page not Found" and then it logs you out.

I cannot recreate that, I can login and put items in my cart. I am sure it would be helpful to James to know what is going on. When you get the page not found error, what is the url up in the address bar?

Drake, did you go all the way to check out? Thats when the error happened.

Do you have a separate username and password for the store? I was having the same problem, then I realized that my username and p/w from the forum would not work. You need to set up a new account for the store. Hopefully that will solve your problem.

That's a good point. Thanks for pointing it out.

The FB Store and the FB Forum are two separate software systems, so you need to register twice. Sorry about that. :-) This is not something I can see fixing in the near term, so we are stuck with it.

Register twice, and keep building!

Thanks, I guess. All I wanted was a Big Green Egg in my outdoor Kitchen. Now Im making plans for a pizza oven. Im not sure how it happened.
