Just built my first WFO! It's a dry stack (mortarless) flat top design I came up with to experiment with before spending big money. It works perfectly! It's just a cube with a quarter inch thick piece of sheet metal holding up roof bricks. I am very happy with the first results.
It only took an hour to build. It has a 32- cibderblock base to bring it up to working height. On top of that is a firebrick surface, stacked firebrick walls, and more laid out across the steel.
