  • To grind or not to grind? That is the question

    I just passed the arch and was taking pictures when I noticed I had a couple bricks slide forward a bit. (See pic). I knew I had some rough spots right behind the arch (no pic) also. Should I grind these down a bit now before I don't have any room or is it fine as is? My concern with the non smooth area behind the arch would be how it affects smoke flow. No one will likely see any of it.

    IMHO, leave it as is, will not affect oven performance. It is an aesthetic issue.
