How thick should the perlite be over the ceramic blanket?

I am finally at the stage of putting on the ceramic blankets and the perlite layer.

I am going to do the 5:1 mix which most people seem to do on this site.

Is there a particular thickness that in recommended?

5 to 1 is usually for use under the floor bricks 8-10 to 1 for going over ceramic fiber blanket. A 1.5-2" should be plenty at 8-10 to 1 p crete.
