  • Transistion from dome to oven entrance

    Hi all,
My question relates to that area of the dome around the oven entrance; specifically, how to continue the chains/rows at that point. I'm sure everyone who has built a dome WBO has their own method, etc, but I'd be keen to see, preferably with a drawing/photo (!), just how it can be accomplished.

    Many thanks,

    TJ

Tailhook, if you are going to use an arch at your entry, then you should take a look at Ken's old kentucky dome photos. His work is really nice.

If you are using angle iron method, then look at Georges pink elephant. His is nice also. I am sure there a lot of other photo's to look at, but those are the ones that I refer to most of the time.

More recently, the badger build photos is a new way to take on the arch transition. It is also a very good idea.
