Hi! Great info here!
This will be my first WFO and I'ver researched a lot but still have a couple of doubts.
About refractory concrete.
1. When the bricks come close to the door, can I use refractory concrete to finish the course? (See pictures)
2. Can I use refractory concrete for the final keystone?
3. Can I use refractory concrete on the edges of the floor instead of cutting bricks to make the circumference?
My main concern here is how it will behave with the temperature changes and how it will affect bricks.
About design.
4. Is it ok to make a steel vent and chimney like in the pictures? I'll be covering it with refractory concrete.
5. Is this chimney going to work ok? It has an 8" diameter.
Thanks a lot!
