  • Woodfire Oven first build

Hello guys and girls, im in the process of gathering materials to start building my woodfire oven and where i'm located fire bricks are hard to come by. i was wondering if there is an alternative?
was thinking hebel? I apologise if any of this seems silly.

Hebel is not a suitable product for the main oven structure. It has been used by many Aussies for the base structure for the oven but not the oven itself. You can consider a refractory cast oven., DavidS is from Queensland and is our resident casting expert. It seems that Melbourne Fire Brick Company offered fire brick although costly.
