  • Wood fired oven size and its material planning

Really excited to make my first Pompeii Pizza Oven. Came across this amazing forum and have gone through many topics. I think this is the best place to get insights before I start my quest for the ultimate pizza oven.

I am working on the size of the oven, maybe 28" or 32", which can cook minimum 2 pizzas. Just have few queries-

    1. How many fire bricks would I need for both 28" or 32" ? Sorry still not sure about the size so preparing for both

    2. Size of fire bricks to be used? I have dimensions of 9"/4.5"/3" available here...will it be ok. My supplier is offering different sizes so little confused.

    3. I need workable dimensions/design of oven which I can use for execution or maybe alter a bit and then use

    4. How to prepare the reference stick for getting perfect dome? I saw this on many youtube videos where people use it to perfectly align the bricks.

Gratitude in advance to all pizza lovers

    Cheers to FB
