Ah, ok then. Presumably you are planning to build an igloo style so if you have a roof to keep out rain then you are better off not waterproofing the outer shell so moisture will escape more readily.

Wife wants the dome look, I want enclosed, no prizes for guessing which way we go. With terribly unpredictable wind and rain around here, it will still be succeptable to the weather., primarily around the insulation base. Will work on that when the time comes. For me right now I just trying to get my head around just how big is suitable so I can build the base. I have the finances now to pour the slab and build the frame then pour the top slab. Once I'm at that stage, and ready to.purchase oven materials, there will be more questions
