  • WFO Term Glossary?

    Hi all

    Is there somewhere on the sight that explains the terms and shorthand used by long time users? ie: I see the reference to TDC in discussions about arches but I'm not sure what TDC means...

    Many of those type of terms use here are not oven specific.
    TDC = top dead center. For an arch it is usually the Keystone. For internal combustion engines it is when a piston is at the top of it's stroke.
    ID = internal diameter
    OD = outside diameter
    I can't think of too many more letter descriptions right now but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

          Thanks everyone. This really helps. That TDC now makes so much sense when I’m reading posts!
