What brand of oven to buy?

Any thoughts about what are the advantages or disadvantages,quality, cost etc of the different brand of ovens available. I tried to research different brands (wildwood, forno b, magnaini, etc) but I would like any opinions from actual owners or users.

I went the same route as Les (and many, many others) and built mine from "scratch" with the plans available from this site. Cost was the only issue for me, if I could have, I would have purchased one of the Forno Brava kits.
The biggest reason for me - the support network provided here on this forum. I would also add, how many retailers would actually assist you in planning and building of anything, without expecting to sell you anything? James does exactly that. Seems his primary goal is to further the wood fired movement, the retail side came on as this forum grew, with James seeking out the best quality items to assist those who share his passion.
OK, now I hope someone chimes in on how outstanding their FB oven kit actually is.

I'm actually gobsmacked that people spend that much time not only planning but building a relatively simple construction as a Pompeii oven.
I realise that I didn't have to dig footings, let alone below a frost line (and I wasn't aware that such a thing existed until reading this forum posts) but I had to dig foundations and pour them (weeks 1 & 2) then it was cutting bricks and bricking up the facade, floor and dome (weekend 3) and then insulate and render the dome (weekends 4 & 5).
All up, I guess that I spent between 50 and 60 hours to get it to the cooking stage. Sure, a little more time was taken to manufacture the cast door pattern, make the doors and fittings, the stainless void and chimney and the lights illuminating the oven floor but the oven was in use whilst this work was going on..
What I am saying here is, that you can build a good oven with the right materials in say less than a month but you need to be devoted to the task.
Believe me, I did all the brickwork in the rain under a tarp but was fun getting such great progress.

I don't know about oven kits, either FB or any of the other brands out there, but I do know that James knows a thing or two about Pizza ovens! He's not just selling these things, but using them, too... and that to my mind is a high recommendation.

Come on people, can't anyone tell lag how great their FB oven is? krosskraft? anyone?
