  • How Many Firebricks for a 36" WFO?

Since I'm buying and carrying all of my supples in my VW Beetle, I'm buying and building in phases.

Any suggestions on how many firebricks I will need for the following sections:
    - the floor (standard herringbone pattern)
    - the soldier course
    - the dome

    Thanks so much!!

The Forno Bravo instructions say ~180 bricks for the floor and oven of a 36" Pompeii.

Thanks for the help, but I'm hoping somebody has an idea how many bricks make up each of the sections I mentioned.

Well, the extra detail I have is 60 are for the floor. You could try counting the soldiers in some of the pics for that count..

Thanks! Actually, I have been trying to find a good pic to count.

I didn't build one, but i drew one: each ring is counted separately. The only difference between this and the standard pompeii is the widely flared entry.
