Welcome to FB Videos. You can now share your YouTube videos with other FB Forum members as part of your regular forum thread. To include a YouTube video, all you have to do is enter the following:

youtube -- surrounded by []the youtube video ID#/youtube -- surrounded by []/ You video will play within your thread.

Also, we have set up two other wood-fired oven and cooking video services through YouTube. The Forno Bravo Channel is where we will post videos that we have produced YouTube - fornobravo's Channel, and the Forno Bravo Group YouTube - Broadcast Yourself., where you can post your own videos.

Post your videos there, and if you really want everyone to watch, embed them here.

This is pretty exciting. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a thousand pictures.

Now what we need is a video icon above the reply box, so it will automatically format youtube numbers like the "quote" and "picture" icons do.

Definitely. I am going to start posting some simple videos -- lighting, firing, etc. FB is still thinking about how we are going to tackle more serious, professional "how to" videos.

For now, I think it would be great if everyone who has a digital camcorder would do a walk around of their oven and post it to the FB YouTube Group YouTube - Broadcast Yourself..

Simple stuff to start and break the ice. :-)

...so that means I have to find the recorder , work out how to reload the batteries , find the instruction manual and read it (and if possible understand and remember it) , find out how to load the resulting film onto my computer , then join YouTube and post the film...

Piece of cake, I hadn't got much planned for this week anyway. I'm telling you, this place is just one learning experience after another....!!!!
