It seems like it would be possible to integrate an Rumford fireplace with a circular wood fired pizza oven, to share the same flue (with FP and WFO never used at the same time). The Rumford would be start 6" or so above ground level, extend 36" tall, then build your WFO deck from there so the ceiling for the FP is the deck of the WFO. You could fashion a removable insulated door to either block off the fireplace when using the WFO, or block off the WFO when using the fireplace. Has anyone pulled off a build like this?
All the outdoor kitchen designs I have seen have the WFO and FP split, so they don't share any chimney or flue. This seems like a lot of extra block to build separate components, so there must be some inherent difficulty I'm missing.
