Slate tile. For some reason it was on sale at Home Depot and I thought it looked pretty nice. Just have to seal it every year but its easy...

that is outstanding, looks like New Mexico with some adobe housed neighbors, they are probably coming over soon.

Ceiling is what we in the NM call latillas... thin pine branches.

Neons are available online... the Bud Light one I bought off Ebay... the seller has a bunch... and the "buy it now" price is high...but he has a "make a offer" option...and he accepted a much lower price...( $200) it has motion....

The Corona one was given to me by the manager of the local Hooters... VIP membeship I guess..

Love the latillas - used to be cheap, but not now
Also saw some beer neon signs at Overstock.

My guess is your home is near the southern Sangre Christos, probably close to Santa Fe. Maybe the southern area - La Cienega??

Anyway, very nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

                        Best,

What kind of ceiling fan did you install? I'm thinking about an open Pergola and wasn't sure if I would be able to install one. Or i was thinking of building a little shelter for it.

                            Thanks

Its a Hunter fan from Lowes....it is rated "wet". There are 2 kinds of outdoor rated fans....wet and damp... with my open type ceiling wet was the way to go... just instal per instructions and it will be fine.
