Hmm, you're right, its not the clearest of pictures is it? I'll post more when I get a bit further along ...

This is just the stand for the grill. It does have a hole in the middle, which is currently covered by the beginning of the support for a concrete slab. I've got a hood and chimney for it already, so all that's missing are the bits inbetween . The only thing I know for sure so far, is that it will have a brick arch as opening, just like the one on the oven but bigger.

This is what I've been doing when I couldn't work on my oven, just using up the left overs. I'm completely making it up as I go along, but the idea is simply to have a place to light fires or put the coals from the oven, and grill the odd sausage. I'm a bit intimidated by the other bbq/grill discussions going here , but anyway here it is...
