Re: Another impoverished author.
Congratulations on all this, Al. Forum members might be interested in my own contribution to WFO lore. It's called Tools Are Made, Born Are Hands: Baking True Artisan Breads in a Wood-Fired Oven. It's the result of many years teaching WFO workshops. The cover design is by Frankie Giovanni.
Because of the number of photographs used to illustrate the various techniques covered, the file is much too large (40 MB) for Kindle. However, the e-book version is available on my website, :: Mary G's Artisan Breads :: Traditional wood-fired brick-oven breads made to uncompromising gourmet standards, as a pdf. You can download it to your computer after I transmit it via YouSendIt. The paperback version is available on Amazon.com, Amazon.com: Tools are made, Born Are Hands. jim wills: Books, or just search the title. You'll find reader reviews and a lot more information about the contents on Amazon. Hope everyone finds it useful.

Re: Another impoverished author.
Thanks, Al. We'll see. It's a POD title, currently selling something like 36 a month as a paperback. Should have clarified in my original post, the "Look Inside This Book" tag on the thumbnail only works on the Amazon site. Apologies for any confusion.

Re: Another impoverished author.
An update.
I am selling around 60 books per month on Amazon from the 4 books I have there, but so far I havent seen any money for them....
The barrel oven build book is quite often at number 1 in its category.
I speak with other Amazon book sellers on the sellers forum and they are stoked if they get their book to number 20,000ish in their category, whoops.
