Hi. Would like to build insulated igloo-type Casa oven. Would then like to frame a wood enclosure on concrete base with 4x4 decorative timbers and wood roof (more for decorative reasons). If igloo is insulated, why do I need 14in. clearance around oven(trying to min. footprint) and why is wood not acceptable. I realize it is combustable, but if I leave 2-4 in. clearances, would this be reasonable? This is typically what is done in home construction around fireplaces with min. clearances. Thanks, steve
