  • Examples of Peacock- or Beehive-Inspired Tiled Ovens?

I'm in the early stages of fantasizing about a Vesuvio oven (or comparable model) with a custom-tiled finish.

I live in a neighborhood with a ridiculous abundance of peafowl. So much so that my tongue-in-cheek name for my house is Painted Peacock Manor.

But beekeeping is a hobby of mine, so that's another source of inspiration for a design.

On the peacock theme, my artist friend did this amazing set of cornhole boards for me, and I could imagine doing some sort of peacock "eye" on an oven, with the opening as the dark spot:

On the beehive theme, yellow tiles with some sort of way to indicate hexagons? This pizza joint has an interesting design:

but I think they could have gone further, especially with those triangular tiles.

Does anyone know if Forno Bravo (or anyone else that does custom designs) is limited to square tiles? Or do they have triangles or hexagons available?

Does anyone vendor have a fancy online design tool? Or are all the custom designs done by hand?

    Thanks!
