Hi all,
i was looking for nice firebricks in Slovakia, but no luck. I do not mean you can't find them here. All are not so straight edged form. If you place on on top of another there will be a gap coz all brick has +-5mm tolerancy and even more, sometimes.
It is ok for dome, but not for the floor.
After a lot of searching and calling i found manufacturer in Czech - P-D Refractories CZ a. s.
They have so called calibrated bricks with tolerance about 1mm and less.
Costs around 2EUR including 20% VAT. Classic C25 size brick (25x12.5x6.5 cm), 4.3Kg per pc.
I'm living in Rajka, Hungary so if someone from neighborhood wants those, drop me a line.
