Lava Tile Material

[East End Build]

I wish this was for me, but unfortunately this is for a client... They have an existing brick pizza oven and want it lined in volcanic tiles. I'm wanting to know the advantages of this tile, who makes these, and what kind of mortar would I need for this construction?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
