Hi I need some help
I want to make concave walls around 3'x3'x2" 3'x6'x2" with a pre-cast framework concrete and Leca to make insulated lightweight concrete.
I read the mix is ,1 portland, 3 sand and 2 leca, and rebar of 3/8 - 1/4, ( thick rebar make cracks ). The wall will be 2" to 2 1/2" thick. You think is this correct.? Is better add 1 lime.?
Also, I can replace Leca for Perlite or Vemiculite to get the same results, lightweight insulated concrete.
Inside the walls I will apply a layer af refractory cement ( mortar type N + fireclay) and over this layer the firebricks of 1 1/2 inch thick.
I thinking do something I can move.
Thanks for all the help.
Walt.
