Ok, Redneck alert! I am a redneck at heart, very into repurposing things, etc...
I am also very challenged on carpentry and masonry. So, here goes...
Gonna build an oven. for the dome I am using a dog igloo as my 'form' to obtain my shape. I am wondering how it should work out if I use firecrete ( or ... ? ) to make the dome?
My hope is to cut the igloo in half, or maybe quarters. Then put it back together so it will hold, but can be taken back apart easily. Then I will build my base, set the igloo on it, and start creting the outside until I have 3 or 4 inches of thickness. Once dry I will dissassemble the igloo parts and pull them out.
